Privacy Policy

How Tora Labs LLC handles information from this website, from conversations with the Hiulix agent, and from the MSPs who deploy it on their own sites.

Plain summary. We collect what a sales conversation needs and not more: what you type to the agent, and contact details you choose to give it. Conversations are stored so the thread survives a page reload. We use OpenAI to generate the agent's replies. We do not sell anything to anyone. 1. Who we are

Tora Labs LLC (Pennsylvania Domestic LLC, entity number 0014963635), registered office in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, operating the Hiulix product on its SalesmateAI platform. Contact: Toralabs@outlook.com.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers this website and the Hiulix agent running on it. Where Hiulix is deployed on a customer's website, that customer is the controller of the conversations on their site and Tora Labs processes that data on their instructions, under the terms of their agreement with us. This policy is not a substitute for that customer's own privacy notice.

3. What we collect

  • Conversation content. The messages you send the agent and the replies it returns, together with a randomly generated conversation identifier stored in your browser's local storage so the thread survives a reload.
  • Contact details you volunteer. Typically a name, a work email and a sentence about your business, given so a person can follow up. The agent is instructed never to ask for a phone number and never to ask for payment or credential information.
  • Voice recordings, if you use the microphone. The audio is uploaded, transcribed, and the file deleted immediately afterwards. Only the transcript continues into the conversation.
  • Technical data. Your IP address, used for rate limiting to keep the service available, and standard server logs.

We do not use advertising or analytics trackers on this site, and there is no cookie banner because there are no cookies to consent to beyond the session cookie the application needs.

4. What we do with it

  • Generate the agent's replies and maintain conversational context.
  • Follow up on an enquiry, when you have asked us to.
  • Improve the accuracy of the product, by reviewing conversations that went wrong.
  • Keep the service available and protect it from abuse.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

5. Sub-processors

The agent's replies are generated by OpenAI, which receives the content of your conversation for that purpose. Hosting and, where configured, managed Redis are provided by our infrastructure vendors. We maintain a list of these sub-processors and review each one's data-handling commitments; because the platform is deliberately built so the underlying model provider can be changed, that list is kept current rather than assumed.

6. Retention

Conversations are retained for up to seven days by default and then expire automatically. Contact details you give us so that someone can reply are kept until the enquiry is closed or you ask us to delete them. Audio files are deleted as soon as they are transcribed. Defined retention periods for customer deployments are set out in the customer agreement.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to any individual customer's data is limited to that customer's authorised users and the Tora Labs personnel required to operate and support the platform. Knowledge-base content is scoped per customer and is never shared across customer accounts.

Tora Labs is a small, early-stage company. We do not currently hold a third-party security attestation such as SOC 2, and we will not imply otherwise. Adding formal administrative controls and evaluating third-party attestation is planned work, tied to when enterprise customers genuinely require it.

8. Your choices

  • Clear the thread. The Clear button in the agent deletes the stored conversation.
  • Ask for deletion. Email Toralabs@outlook.com and we will delete what we hold about you.
  • Ask for a copy. Same address; we will send you what we have.
  • Don't use the agent. Everything else on this site works without it.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under state privacy law. Exercise them at the same address and we will honour them.

9. Children

This is a business product and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update this page and change the date below. The product is in pre-launch testing and this policy will be expanded as the product and its customer agreements are finalised.
